Moseley School Sports Hall, Birmingham

Following the redevelopment of the school, Moseley School decided to increase and supplement their existing sports facilities. The facility comprises four court sports hall to Sport England Standards with associated changing facilities. The new building is located adjacent the existing gym and sports block and is cleverly linked with these buildings by an undercover street.

The changing room ceiling has been designed to become a future floor for the purpose of teaching space that will eventually link through to a viewing gallery and bleacher seating. The new building is on a sloping site with challenging cut and fill earthworks and associated retaining structures.

The project commenced on site in December 2013.
