    With careful re-planning of the existing site, we were able to avoid the disruption and cost of diverting a watercourse and two major public sewers, enabling project funds to be fully utilised in providing the educational facilities.

Description

The new two storey classroom block comprised a steel frame with precast floors, constructed off a fully suspended piled foundation solution. The school is constructed within a flood plain and required the provision of flood storage compensation to be incorporated within the parameters of the site boundary.

The school building provides design and technology, art, science, food technology and music facilities, together with key stage classrooms, hygiene rooms, dining area, hall and hydrotherapy pool.
