Description

The building is single storey, comprising a steel frame of beam and column construction based on a circular footprint. Former mine workings were drilled and grouted, with the surface made ground being treated by vibro compaction. The substructures comprised a reinforced concrete raft.

The school building provides a nursery facility, one form entry school with provision made for a future extension to a 1.5 form entry. School hall, child care facilities and community use are all catered for.
